About
Built with discipline. Told with purpose.
Introduction
Cold Hallway Films is an independent production company based in Los Angeles dedicated to original cinematic storytelling.
Founded by Filipino American filmmaker Aaron Dumas, the company develops original feature films rooted in restraint, consequence, and precision — bringing a grounded cinematic approach to action, drama, and suspense.
Rather than relying on spectacle alone, our stories are built through character, tension, visual storytelling, and emotional truth.
We believe the most memorable moments are not always the loudest. They are the ones that feel inevitable.
Our Philosophy
We believe filmmaking is an exercise in restraint.
The camera moves with purpose. Silence carries weight. Violence has consequence. Performance comes before spectacle.
Every creative decision should deepen character rather than distract from it.
Whether inside a dim hospital corridor, on a sunlit racing circuit, or within the streets of Los Angeles, our stories explore ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances — where discipline, sacrifice, and resilience ultimately define who they become.
Our Mission
To develop original feature films that combine cinematic craftsmanship with emotional authenticity.
We strive to tell stories that respect the intelligence of the audience — where restraint creates tension, precision creates impact, and consequence gives every decision meaning.
Cold Hallway Films is committed to building a slate of original films that endure beyond opening weekend through timeless storytelling and disciplined filmmaking.

Our Approach
Every story begins with a question.
Not — How can this be bigger?
But — How can this be more truthful?
Action exists to reveal character. Conflict exists to create transformation. Visuals exist to serve emotion.
Every frame should have intention. Every moment should earn its place.
That philosophy guides every Cold Hallway Films production.
